    To apply for a loan with us you need to be:

    1. 18+ years old
    2. A UK resident
    3. Income £400+ (salary & benefits)
    4. Valid Bank Card
    5. UK Bank Account

    Unlike many short-term lenders we at Oakam look at your individual circumstances, which mean that we may lend to you even if you:

    • Have been turned down for credit before
    • Have recently moved to the UK
    • Are self employed
    • Had CCJs in the past
    • Are receiving benefits

    As a responsible lender we are not able to help you if you are:

    • In debt management
    • Bankrupt or have an IVA
    • Have current unspent CCJs
